Allied Health Awards Endorsed!

HSU Allied Health and Health Professional Members have endorsed the proposed amendments to the below listed draft awards. These awards will be provided to the Industrial Relations Commission today as the HSU’s formal claim to resolve the ongoing award reform.
This is the largest award application made in a generation and reflects years of work and dedication from HSU Allied Health members - in particular, the many delegates who have given countless hours to making this possible.
In 2026, Industrial Relations Commission conciliation will continue as the awards progress towards a formal hearing to resolve the outstanding claims.
HSU Allied Health and Health Professional Awards endorsed:
- Clinical, Health and Associated Professionals Award (CHAP)
- Medical Imaging and Radiation Award (MIR)
- Scientific Award
Next year will be the most significant year for Allied Health members in a generation.
