Medical Oncology Clinical Trials Unit (MOCTU) Restructure at Liverpool Hospital

South Western Sydney LHD (SWSLHD) has notified the HSU of proposed changes within the MOCTU. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposal would involve changes to the position of Clinical Research Manager (HM2), and the district claims the decision follows progressive structural reform over the past 3 years.
- The district claims that the functions of the position have slowly been integrated into other leadership and administrative positions, resulting in the requirement for a standalone position diminishing.
- The district has not explicitly stated it plans to delete the position and are in the first instance planning a meeting with employees to discuss the proposed changes.
