2026 HSU Delegate of the Year Nominations

Dear member,
 
It’s time! The HSU is now accepting nominations for Delegate of the Year from each division. Awards will be presented at the HSU Annual Conference in September.
 
This award recognises HSU NSW/ACT/QLD members for excellence as a Union Delegate.
 
Who Can Be Nominated?
 
Delegates from:
  • Aged Care
  • Ambulance
  • Private Health (Private Sector/Disability/ATSI Health Services)
  • Public Health
  • Allied Health
How To Nominate:
  • Complete the nomination form linked here
  • Include a short statement explaining how the Delegate demonstrates the nomination criteria
  • Ensure your nomination is seconded (supported) by another member
  • Nominations can also be emailed to training@hsu.asn.au
Eligibility for Nomination:
 
The member that you nominate should:
  • Be a financial member of the Union
  • Be involved in significant Union activity and action
  • Have worked to strengthen the Union
  • Display courage in representation of other members
  • Show Union or community activity beyond the boundaries of their workplace
  • Be supportive of other members and their campaigns
A panel of HSU members and leaders will review all nominations and select the winners.
 
Nominations close on 30 July 2026.
