After-hours Ward Clerk Service Restructure at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital

South Western Sydney LHD (SWSLHD) has notified the HSU of proposed changes to the after-hours Ward Clerk Service at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposal would see the discontinuance of the service and the district claims the decision is based on sustained low service demand.
- The district states the staff affected by the deletion of positions would be offered redeployment to equivalent Ward Clerk positions which would not require and additional training or changes to their grades.
- The proposal would see the deletion of three AO2 positions, totalling 1.27 FTE.
