Car Parking Fees Proposal at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital
Thursday 5 February, 2026
South Western Sydney LHD (SWSLHD) has proposed changes to car parking fees at Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- Management claim that as well as the annual CPI indexation (1.9%), there are a number of areas where local practices require alignment with the NSW Health Car Parking Fees Policy.
- The proposal would see the underground and main car park have their fees aligned under a standard single rate.
- The change would also see the end of validated or free parking arrangements for casual staff.
- Furthermore, the HSU is still in consultation with the Ministry of Health regarding its car parking fees policy, with feedback expected on Monday 9 February. That process may have some bearing on how this policy consultation proceeds.
