Parking, Retail and Accommodation Changes at Western Sydney LHD (WSLHD)

WSLHD has notified the HSU of proposed changes relating to the consolidation of the Parking, Retail and Accommodation functions. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
  • The District claims it has found an opportunity for increased efficiencies and revenue by consolidating the services across Westmead, Blacktown, Mount Druitt, Auburn, and Cumberland hospitals.
  • The services are current managed independently within each facility, but this proposal would see them centrally managed under the Asset Management portfolio in the Redevelopment and Infrastructure directorate.
  • The proposal would result in various changes to reporting lines, responsibilities, and classifications, which are detailed in the consultation documents linked below.
