Medical Radiation Science Regrade Changes at Western Sydney LHD (WSLHD)

WSLHD has notified the HSU of changes to personal regrades within Medical Radiation. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The District has undergone a review of how personal regrades for Diagnostic Radiographers are applied in light of previous IRC decisions and consultation with the Ministry of Health.
- The review identified some inconsistencies with how personal regrades were applied for staff seeking advancement beyond Level 3 Grade 2 based on attaining a qualification such as a postgraduate diploma.
- As a result of this review, WSLHD will no longer be supporting personal regrades to Level 3 Grade 3 and above as the District's view is that this advancement is only possible through appointment or a positional regrade.
