Research & Education Network (REN) Restructure at Western Sydney LHD (WSLHD)

WSLHD has notified the HSU of proposed changes within the finance function of the REN. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
  • The proposed change involves an alteration of reporting lines for the Research Finance team who would from 10 June report directly into the District Finance team.
  • Management claim they have been in contact with affected staff throughout the year and have provided written confirmation of the change recently.
  • It’s concerning that the District seems to have only notified the HSU of this change after a final decision had been made, with implementation set to occur without an opportunity for genuine consultation to occur.
