Anglicare Sydney Announces Acquisition of Infin8 Care
Thursday 5 March, 2026
HSU members at Infin8 Care are advised that Anglicare has signed an agreement to acquire Infinite Care and its 18 care homes in QLD, NSW, VIC, and SA, with completion expected around May 2026, subject to approvals. As with any workplace change – especially a significant one such as this – HSU members must be properly informed and consulted. Union support is also available!
Anglicare has advised that:
- There are no changes to frontline roles or day-to-day operations at this stage.
- All existing employment arrangements and entitlements remain in place.
- Once finalised the combined organisation would operate approximately 42 homes with around 4,600 beds and 7,000 staff nationally.
What members should do:
- Attend any briefing that’s held to get further information.
- Confirm balances on all leave entitlements via payslip or by contacting payroll.
- Contact your HSU organiser or Member Services Division (details below) if you are required to attend a 1:1 meeting, to get advice and representation.
For any questions or to find out more, please reach out to your HSU Organiser or your Member Services Division on 1300 478 679.
