Canberra Imaging Group Negotiations Update

Dear member,
HSU bargaining representatives have now attended nine bargaining meetings with Canberra Imaging Group (CIG). Throughout these discussions, your representatives have continued to advocate for the claims put forward by members and ensure your priorities remain central to negotiations,
linked here. CIG have now responded to your log of claims from page 21-30 of document (50 claims),
linked here. Your bargaining team is formally replying and incorporating feedback. This ensures the employer is responding not just to claims on paper, but to the real issues raised by members across the workplace.
The most recent meeting focused on progressing a clear timeframe for finalising negotiations. CIG has committed to providing a draft Enterprise Agreement to the bargaining committee and scheduling dedicated meeting to work through the document in detail before it is put to employees for consideration and voting
What are the next steps - HSU bargaining team will finalise and submit our responses, based on member feedback by COB Friday 24 April.
- CIG has committed to providing a formal response to this feedback by 20 May, followed by a meeting with the Bargaining Committee and CIG Executive to address outstanding questions.
- CIG aims to distribute a Draft EBA distributed to all Bargaining representatives by 27 May.
