Free Legal Will and Initial Legal Advice - General Info

As an HSU member, you are provided with free initial general legal advice on matters outside of your employment. You can also gain discounted rates for legal services such as conveyancing, family law or private legal disputes.

*HSU members must be financial and must have been a member for greater than 3 months to access this service.

Wills, Probate and Estate Litigation

A standard will is provided free to financial HSU members and their spouse/partner. Online and face to face options are available to suit your convenience. Standard wills for other family members, complex wills and powers of attorney are provided at reduced rates. Our solicitors will work with members and their families to assess the relevant issues and offer legal expertise on will disputes, guardianship disputes, probate and administration.

Conveyancing

If you are buying or selling any property or a business, you should consult a lawyer prior to entering into any transaction to ensure your rights are protected. Reduced fees are offered in most conveyancing matters.

Family Law

Free initial advice will be provided to financial members on all family law matters. As a HSU member, you will receive discounted rates on some legal services. You can receive assistance in relation to all family law matters including negotiations and litigation.
