Hospital @ Home Restructure at Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD

ISLHD is proposing a restructure within the Hospital @ Home project. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposal would see the amalgamation of existing acute care services, Hospital in the Home (HITH) and Virtual Hospital Ward (VHW) into one service.
- Virtually enhanced Community Care (VeCC) would remain in the Out of Hospital Care Service as a non acute service, and this is a change from the original proposal from July 2025.
- Management claim the proposal intends to ensure the structure can meet patient delivery needs as the community evolves.
