Medicare Mental Health Hub Restructure at Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD (ISLHD)

Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD (ISLHD) has notified the HSU of proposed changes within Medicare Mental Health Kids Hub. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- Management claim the proposed change follows a review of the first 12 months of service delivery which has identified that demand currently exceeds capacity.
- The proposal would see an increase in staffing for the Kids Hub through the establishment of new roles as well as the reallocation of 2.5FTE from ISDAS to the Kids Hub.
- The proposal would also result in various other changes to the structure such as the conclusion of a fixed-term contract and reduced Speech Pathology FTE.
