Clinical Leadership Restructure at Illawarra Community Mental Health Service (ICMHS)

Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD (ISLHD) has notified the HSU of proposed changes to Clinical Leadership within ICMHS. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The district claims that ICMHS has reached a pivotal moment with an increase in service scope, complexity, and demand which has significantly increased consumer contact over the last 7 years.
- The district claims that through consultation with staff, it has prepared a proposed restructure which would provide a more contemporary clinical leadership structure.
- The proposal would involve the creation of a number of new positions to support the leadership structure, as well as reclassifying a number of nursing positions into multidisciplinary positions which would require new grading. The proposal would see the current holders of those positions be matched into the new position
