Child, Adolescent and Youth Mental Health Services (CAYMHS) Restructure at ISLHD

ISLHD has notified the HSU of a review that will be conducted of CAYMHS inpatient and community services. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- Management claim this review would have the intention of identifying opportunities to strengthen models of care, workforce composition and service delivery for children, young people and their families.
- The review will examine service culture, staffing profiles, and models of car, but no further detail has been provided.
- The District has advised that the review will be conducted by an expert panel and overseen by the Ministry of Health and will include consultation with staff and other stakeholders.
