Nepean security guards – speak up about safety and Synergy!

HSU security members recently raised serious concerns around the proper training, induction, and reliability of contracted Synergy guards at Nepean Hospital. Your security delegates and HSRs met with NBMLHD management this week to raise these concerns and management acknowledged these issues during a productive meeting.
- It's vital security staff make LHD management aware of any issues with Synergy that occurs on shift. If you witness an operational incident regarding Synergy, make an IMS report ASAP or contact your delegates.
- If you deem a Synergy guard lacks proper training or knowledge to do the job or you have convened around their performance, send an email to the security manager detailing your concerns.
- It is important that all issues with Synergy are logged and passed to LHD management if we are to see real change and results.
