Security Officers & HASAs: Body Warn Camera Survey
Monday 30 March, 2026
Dear member,
As you will be aware, the NSW Government has commenced a Body Worn Camera (BWC) trial for security staff across a number of public hospitals. The initiative aims to curb violence and aggression in our health facilities and provide an additional layer of safety for frontline workers.
HSU members are encouraged to give feedback on the use of these cameras. It’s important to understand if the cameras are assisting in keeping our workplaces safe.
You can complete the survey by clicking here Your voice matters. Please take a few minutes to share your thoughts so we can continue advocating strongly for you and your colleagues. We are always stronger when we stand together.
