SESLHD Proposal Regarding Community Duress
Wednesday 3 December, 2025
SESLHD has notified the HSU of a proposed pilot within Mental Health Services which is designed to enhance safety. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The Community Duress Project would supposedly strengthen frontline safety by improving the ability to signal duress and enable real-time communication in the event of an emergency.
- WorkSafe Guardian (WSG) has been selected as the preferred provider for the piloting of this initiative.
- Pilot set to commence in February 2026 and conclude in August 2026.
