Shared Services transition MNCLHD to HSNSW - Tranche 1

Dear member,
The transition of waste, cleaning, stores and linen services from MNCLHD to HealthShare NSW will occur for Tranche 1 (Bellinger River, Kempsey, Macksville and Wauchope Hospitals) on Monday 25 May 2026.
Delegates from each site have advocated fiercely to obtain answers and resolutions to issues identified throughout the preparation phase of this transition.
It is to be expected that there will be teething issues as the transition commences and encourage members to raise issues locally through the appropriate escalation pathways.
Members who are on light duties with active workers compensation claims, if you have any questions about how your claim will be managed post-transition, please reach out to Member Services on 1300 478 679 for industrial advice specific to your circumstances.
HSU members are wished the best of luck for Monday. There will be ongoing meetings with both the District and HSNSW post-transition to resolve any issues that arise, which cannot be first resolved with local site management.
