ACT Public Sector Allied Health Assistant (AHA) Consultation
Thursday 12 February, 2026
The ACTPS has been consulting with stakeholders on matters relating to Allied Health Assistants. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The consultation relates to whether the current enterprise agreement is the most suitable to cover AHA’s.
- The consultation paper highlights that ACTPS is seeking to ensure that AHA’s are covered by the most appropriate enterprise agreement, with a transfer to the HPEA being an option put forward.
- ACTPS note that it is incredibly important that AHAs are adequately recognised for their work as it has expanded beyond the traditional “support services”.
