ACTPS Draft Union Encouragement Policy

The ACT Public Sector (ACTPS) has released a draft union encouragement policy for consultation. Now is the time to have your say.
- The policy states that the ACT Government is committed to encouraging union membership amongst its employees in ACTPS.
- This encouragement would require management to adopt a positive and supportive role in facilitating representative activity by unions.
- As part of this policy, staff are to be provided with access to union representatives or delegates during working hours to discuss any employment matter or seek union advice.
