Centralised Accommodation Services Changes at Northern NSW LHD (NNSWLHD)
Thursday 25 June 2026
NNSWLHD has notified the HSU of the proposed introduction of an on-call roster within the Centralised Accommodation Services team. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- Management claim the introduction of an on-call roster is to provide remote telephone callback services only, which would ensure the continuity of accommodation services outside standard business hours.
- The District also claims that a vote was conducted with admin staff within the team and the majority of staff advised that they did wish to participate in an on-call roster.
- Further detail about the specific roster is provided in the documentation, but the District does plan to commence this roster from 3 August and also note that there would be no actual requirement to return to the workplace under this model.
