Management claim the proposal is driven by a desire for more robust leadership and supervision across Catering and Domestic Services teams, thus enhancing the patient experience.
There are 3 positions affected by this proposal: Domestic Services Supervisor, Catering Manager, and Director of Finance, Business and Performance. The proposal would involve changes in reporting lines as well as changes in scope and responsibilities for one affected staff member.
The attached documentation provides further details about the proposed change, but to summarise, the main change would be that the Domestic Services Supervisor reports into a Hospitality Manager (HSM1) position which was previously named the Catering Services Manager. The Catering Manager would continue to report to the Director of Finance, Business and Performance.
