Fresh Hope Communities Payroll Review

Fresh Hope Communities Payroll Review

Monday 1 June, 2026

Dear member,

After Fresh Hope Communities notified staff about payroll discrepancies identified through a payroll review, HSU members met with management to get more information about what has happened, who may be affected, and what members can expect next.
  • Management advised that the issue only affects a small number of current and former aged care employees covered by the Enterprise Agreement and awards. If you are affected, management has advised they will contact you directly. If you do not receive any further communication, your payments have not been identified as impacted.
  • Management confirmed that impacted employees will be contacted individually and that any identified additional entitlements, including applicable interest and Superannuation, will be processed directly with affected employees.
  • HSU members’ concerns were raised, and assurance was sought around communication, payment processes, and ongoing payroll compliance. Management advised that payroll improvements, including Humanforce implementation and ongoing auditing processes, are being introduced as part of this work.
If you have questions or concerns about your individual circumstances, please contact management in the first instance through the dedicated support pathway. If you need further support after speaking with management, contact your HSU Organiser or alternatively call 1300 478 679.

Do you know someone who isn’t an HSU member? Encourage them to join our Union today and have a say at work. We are always stronger when we stand together.
