Leave Entitlements Update at Respect Aged Care

Leave Entitlements Update at Respect Aged Care

Monday 23 February, 2026

Both Respect Aged Care and Nambucca Valley Care (NVC) have provided correspondence to the HSU advising that the error around leave entitlements has been resolved.
  • The issue was triggered when NVC inadvertently gave incorrect information to Respect Aged Care during the transfer of business.
  • HSU members raised the problem directly with their current and previous employer and the issue is now rectified. Well done to all members who took action.

Correspondence received from Respect Aged Care senior management can be viewed HERE. Members who still have an incorrect leave balance should contact Respect Aged Care payroll in the first instance.

If you believe you still have incorrect leave balances, please call member services on 1300 478 679 for further assistance.
