Update Regarding Leave Entitlements at Respect Aged Care
Wednesday 4 February, 2026
HSU members continue to send reports regarding the transfer of your leave entitlements from NVC to Respect Aged Care. Members have identified errors with your long service leave (LSL) balances and other leave entitlements including annual and personal leave.
Members are encouraged to check your payslips and confirm your leave balances are correct; if it looks wrong, it’s likely that it is!
HSU members have contacted both NVC and Respect Aged Care regarding the errors and are working with both providers to ensure that all members receive the correct entitlements.
Members are asked to contact NVC and request –
- A statement of service; and
- Their leave entitlement balance from the day before the transfer of business.
