Garden Suburb Kitchen Roster Review

Uniting have commenced consultation on their proposed changes to the Garden Suburb Kitchen Roster. The first meeting was held 29 January 2026.
The following has been proposed:
- 7 x day chefs – 6:30am to 3:00pm
- Keep the current 6:30am to 2:30pm shift
- Change the current 7:00am to 3:00pm shift to 6:30am to 1:00pm
- Add a new shift 11:30am to 7:00pm
- Remove the current 3:30pm to 7:30pm shift
If you are impacted by the proposed changes, you can contact a local HSU delegate or HSU organiser for advice and representation. Individual meetings will commence from Monday 2 February.
