HealthShare Shared Services – HSU proposes to delay transition

Dear member,
 
The proposed transition date of Waste, Cleaning, Stores and Linen services from CCLHD to HealthShare NSW is less than two weeks away. The HSU has been receiving limited information from CCLHD around rostering, vacancies and task lists.
 
Following meetings last week with members directly impacted, the message is clear: CCLHD is not ready to transition!
 
HSU members are prioritising the following action:
 
  • Advocating to delay the transition to ensure genuine consultation occurs.
  • Addressing concerns around staffing and split in duties between cleaners and PSAs.
  • If postponement is not agreed to, HSU members will meet to discuss next steps.
