HealthShare Shared Services – HSU proposes to delay transition for NNSWLHD

Dear member,
The proposed transition date of Waste, Cleaning, Stores and Linen services from NNSWLHD to HealthShare NSW is less than two weeks away. The HSU has received very limited information from NNSWLHD which falls far short of what is required under consultation obligations.
The HSU is currently doing the following:
- Advocating to delay the transition for up to two (2) months. The HSU is waiting for HSNSW to respond to our request.
- Addressing concerns around splitting dual roles in the District
- If postponement is not agreed to, the HSU will look at next steps with members
