Medical Workforce Unit Restructure at Southern NSW LHD (SNSWLHD)

A restructure within the Medical Workforce Unit is being proposed by SNSWLHD. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposed changes are significant and would result in various positions being deleted in favour of some newly created positions.
- The District claims that these changes are required to correct governance issues as well as issues regarding lack of role clarity.
- Whilst many of the positions being deleted are being filled with new positions, the incumbents may need to apply to these new positions which risks various job losses for existing staff.
- The District has sent out communications to staff which indicate that if you attend the virtual consultation meetings when you are not rostered on duty, you will be paid 1 hour as time in lieu.
