REACH Calls Program at Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD (ISLHD)

ISLHD has provided information relating to the incoming statewide REACH Call program. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
  • ISLHD state that the change will have an impact on Switchboard staff.
  • The Ministry of Health requires on central LHD catchment number for the statewide 1300, and Wollongong Hospital has been chosen for ISLHD as it holds the only 24/7 switchboard.
  • The change would see a slightly increase in the number of calls coming via Wollongong Switchboard.
