Shared Service Evolution / SLHD MoU
Monday 30 March, 2026
Dear member,
Sydney Local Health District is the latest LHD to commence consultation with the HSU over the transition of shared services to HealthShare. Through the HealthShare Shared Service Evolution, cleaning, food services, stores and linen departments are transitioning to HealthShare. When this first occurred in WSLHD in 2024, the HSU negotiated a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with HealthShare to protect the conditions of impacted HSU members.
You can find the MoU here. For any questions or to find out more, please reach out to your HSU Organiser Randall Millington at
randall.millington@hsu.asn.au or your Member Services Division on 1300 478 679.
Do you know someone who isn’t an HSU member? Encourage them to join our Union today and have a say at work. We are always stronger when we stand together.
