Sydney LHD Support Services Program Update

As you are aware, the state-wide Support Services Program includes the transition of non-clinical support services from local health districts to HealthShare NSW (HSNSW) and is occurring in a staged approach over the coming years.  
 
HSNSW has advised the HSU that they have begun work to transition SLHD, with staff scheduled to commence with HSNSW from May 2026.
 
Town Halls will be held on the following dates, with HSU representatives presenting to impacted staff in the final 30 minutes of each timeslot.
  1. Canterbury Hospital – 2pm, Monday 23 Feb
  2. Concord Hospital – 2:30pm, Wednesday 25 Feb & 2:30pm, Friday 27 Feb
  3. RPA/Prof. Marie Bashir Centre – 1:30pm, Tues 24 Feb & 2:00pm, Thurs 26 Feb
  4. Balmain – 10:30am, Wednesday 25 Feb
  5. Sydney Dental – 5:15pm, Tuesday 24 Feb

  • In accordance with the Memorandum of Understanding, HSNSW will continue providing updates to the HSU.
