District Revenue Restructure at Sydney LHD (SLHD)

A restructure within District Revenue is being proposed by SLHD. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
  • Management state this proposed change to the organisational structure follows the transition of revenue transactional functions to HealthShare NSW (HSNSW).
  • The district advises claims that after conducting a review, it was found that the staff remaining with the destring as Patient Billing Liaisons require a dedicated line manager to provide escalation support and coordination.
  • The proposal would see the deletion of 2 existing HM2 positions and the recruitment into the existing Manager, Patient Billing Services (HM2) position. The HSU is always concerned when jobs are being cut.
