Sleep Lab Roster Redesign at St George Hospital (SGH)

Dear member,
A redesign of the sleep laboratory roster at SGH is being proposed by South Eastern Sydney LHD (SESLHD). This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- Management claim that the current distribution of hours and the structure of shifts do not provide adequate day-shift coverage to support essential service functions, nor do they allow for consistent and safe night-shift staffing.
- The district proposes a number of changes including a reduction in nights of operation from 6 to 4, and standardisation of night-shift duration to 12 hours.
- The district has provided a proposed roster for consideration.
