Administration Services Restructure at Westmead Laboratory

A restructure within Administration Services at Westmead is being proposed by NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP). This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
  • The proposal would see the centralisation of the administrative staff from the Chemistry, Haematology, Microbiology, and Immunology Laboratories into the one team, reporting into the one central leader which would be a HSM 1 Executive Assistant.
  • Management claim this proposal comes after a review which identified issues caused by the teams being separated, causing a large overlap in work which could be more effectively done by a centralised team.
  • The proposal would see the deletion of a number of positions, various position regrades, and reporting line changes.
