Anatomical Pathology Lab Changes at Liverpool

NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP) has notified the HSU of proposed staff changes in the Anatomical Pathology Lab in Liverpool. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
  • Management claim this proposed change to the staffing structure would align the lab more closely with the other Anatomical Pathology Labs across NSWHP. They claim it is a suitable time to make this change as the overall lab manager has recently resigned from NSWHP.
  • The proposed change would see the deletion of two positions: Laboratory Manager – Principal Scientific Officer, and the Manager, Histology, Senior Hospital Scientist in Charge of Lab. The HSU is always concerned when positions are proposed to be deleted.
  • The first position would be replaced with a Laboratory Manager, Senior HS In Charge of Lab, and the second with a Histology Senior HS In Charge of Section.
