Immunology Lab Restructure at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital (RPAH)

NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP) has notified the HSU of proposed changes to the Immunology Lab at Camperdown. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposal involves changing the classification of 1 Scientific Officer position to 1 Technical Officer position.
- Management claim this change would align the lab’s staffing profile with operational requirements and ensure duties are allocated in accordance with position classification.
- The scientific officer position being deleted is currently vacant so there would be no affected staff members, but HSU is always concerned when there are positions being deleted which would alter a whole organisational structure.
