Dear member,
HSU members at LDK Greenway have identified they are not receiving a laundry allowance.
The Aged Care Award clearly outlines your entitlement to receive a laundry allowance where your employer requires you to wear a uniform and they do not launder it for you.
The LDK Uniform and Dress Code Policy sets out the requirement for certain employees, including nurses, carers, cleaners and catering staff, to wear the issued uniform.
Join the campaign to fight for your entitlements!
- Review your payslips to check if you are getting the laundry allowance
- Forward your payslip to your Organiser lisa.bourke@hsu.asn.au to build an evidence base
- Encourage your co-workers to join the HSU to strengthen our collective power and achieve payment of your entitlements
