Healthscope Announces National Capital Private Hospital Transfer to Ramsay Health Care

Healthscope has advised that it has commenced consultation regarding the proposed transfer of National Capital Private Hospital to Ramsay Health Care, with an indicative transfer date of August 2026.

HSU members recently met with Peter Ryan, Director of Industrial relations at Ramsay who provided the following information: - All employees are being offered contracts and will transition with all entitlements and conditions.
- Contracts to start rolling out this week – with Ramsay officially taking over from September 1.
- Ramsay will be onsite in the coming weeks to answer all questions
- Members are encouraged to speak directly with Ramsay representatives when they are on site
HSU members will continue to closely monitor the consultation process and advocate to ensure members ‘rights and entitlements are protected throughout the transaction.
