Ramsay’s offer? More waiting.

Despite the lengthy delays that have already occurred during bargaining, Ramsay has rescheduled today’s bargaining meeting.
After months of waiting, members still have no wages offer and no meaningful response to the claims put forward by the HSU bargaining representatives. Workers have continued to show up every day and do the work that keeps the hospital running, while bargaining drags on and your employer continues to avoid addressing the issues that matter most to you.
Ramsay has:
- Delayed bargaining again.
- Not agreed to a single HSU claim.
- Not committed to back pay to December 2025.
- Made no wages offer.
- Made no increase to Paid Parental Leave for the primary carer.
The good news is that bargaining is not over and workers still have the power to change the outcome. Strong agreements are won when workers stand together. If you want improved pay and conditions, now is the time to take action.
Talk to your colleagues about what is happening in bargaining, encourage non-members to join HSU and attend member meetings to make sure your voice is being heard.
