Children and Young People’s Sexual Safety Unit (CYPSS) Relocation at Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network (SCHN)

SCHN has notified the HSU of its intention to relocate the CYPSS Unit which for the last 3 years has been located in leased accommodation in North Parramatta. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The current lease expires on 30 June 2026 and will not be renewed due to challenges that have been identified which include constraints in workspace configuration, acoustic privacy for sensitive clinical discussions, and reduced integration with the broader clinical environment and related services at CHW.
- The proposal would see the unit return to CHW from 1 July 2026, but no decision has been made in relation to where the suitable accommodation would be.
- The attached documentation details the proposed requirements for the space, and the network is seeking feedback from workers, including options for consideration.
