Front Reception Restructure at Royal North Shore Hospital

A change to operating hours at the front desk is being proposed by Northern Sydney LHD (NSLHD). This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- Management claim this proposal is a result of a number of enhancements which have reduced dependence on the front reception of navigation and admissions support.
- The proposal would see the front desk hours align with main hospital inpatient and outpatient activity between 8am and 4:30pm.
- This would result in multiple job cuts (1.56 FTE reduction in staffing), and a total operating hours of 92 hours per week down from 176.
- The available positions would be decided through an internal assessment and EOI process.
