HNELHD WHS & Wellbeing Team Restructure
Wednesday 26 November, 2025
A restructure within the Work Health Safety & Wellbeing Team is being proposed by Hunter New England LHD (HNELHD). This is an opportunity for HSU members to have a say on how this affects you.
- A number of existing staff would have their reporting line changed from the Recovery at Work Manager to the Workers’ Compensation Manager.
- Management claim this would allow for better managerial support for staff.
- Current and Proposed Organisation charts can be seen in the attached correspondence.

It is important for union members to lead this discussion.
