HSU Members to Endorse Log of Claims at Whiddon

Dear member,
HSU members at Whiddon have developed a draft Log of Claims for the next Enterprise Agreement. Members are now being asked to endorse these claims so bargaining with Whiddon can begin. - Fair pay and recognition – including 5% wage increases each year, clear pay points and progression pathways, and better recognition for additional responsibilities such as medication administration and mentoring.
- Secure work and better conditions – including predictable rostered hours, stronger protections around client cancellations and broken shifts, and improved allowances and entitlements.
- Safer workplaces and stronger worker voice – including improved personal and infection control leave, better staffing transparency, and stronger union and consultation rights in the workplace.
HSU members can view the full Log of Claims and complete the endorsement survey to support the claims before negotiations begin with Whiddon.
Endorsement survey closes this Friday 17 April.
