Human Resources, Culture and Capability Restructure at South Eastern Sydney LHD (SESLHD)

SESLHD has notified the HSU of a proposed restructure within the Human Resources, Culture and Capability team. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.

  • The district claims these proposed changes are the result of significant amendments to the Industrial Relations legislation as well as Work Health & Safety legislation which expand its responsibilities and likely lead to an increase in volume and complexity of cases.
  • The scope of the changes is significant and involves the deletion of various positions, changes to reporting lines, and the creation of new positions which some impacted staff are proposed to be matched directly to.
  • The proposal would see the deletion of the Head, Human Resources, Culture & Capability (HM5), as well as 3.5 FTE Human Resources Consultant (HM1). The HSU is always concerned when jobs are being cut.
