Northern Beaches Hospital Transition Update

Yesterday your HSU Sub-Branch representatives met with the Local Health District (LHD) to discuss the transition of Northern Beaches Hospital to NSW Health.
LHD representatives indicated that:
- At this stage, all 450 beds at the hospital are expected to be part of NSW Health.
- Letters of offer for all staff are expected to be issued before Christmas.
- Members will have until 30 January 2026 to make a decision on whether or not to accept their offer.
Representatives from NSW Health will be holding information sessions for members in the new year.
