Proposed Trial Shift Changes at Bega Laboratory
Dear member,
A proposed trial of shift changes for Technical Assistants (TAs) at Bega Laboratory is being proposed by NSW Health Pathology (NSWHP). This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposed trial would introduce an earlier shift start time in the pre-analytical area of the lab.
- Management claim the trial has arisen following staff feedback, and to allow better support for early morning workload demands.
- The proposed change would have shifts start at 06:30-15:00 instead of 07:00-15:30, and management would ideally like the trial roster to begin on 13 April and run for a period of 3 months.
