Respect Aged Care Roster Review: Have you been impacted?

Friday 14 November, 2025

Dear member,

HSU members working for Respect Aged Care, across their mid north coast facilities, have reported significant roster changes that have resulted in a reduction to contracted hours and income.

HSU members have requested that senior management address and rectify the matter and issue an apology to affected employees. The employer has since given the following response:

The loss of contracted hours was unintended;

Staff will be paid their contracted hours; and

All previously approved leave will be honoured.

HSU members continue to report underpayments related to the roster review and unpaid training. If you have been impacted, please email your Organiser Karen Wiles at karen.wiles@hsu.asn.au with a copy of your:
