Social Work Changes at Albury Wodonga Health (AWH)

AWH has notified the HSU of proposed changes to the inpatient social work department. This is your opportunity to have a say on how this affects you.
- The proposal would see the introduction of 2 new clinical leader positions to enhance clinical oversight, supervision, and professional support for staff.
- The additional staff would be comprised of 1.0 FTE Clinical Leader (Level 4) based at Albury Campus, and 0.84 FTE Social Work Clinical Leader (Allied Health Professionals (Victoria Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021–2026, Grade 3) based at Wodonga Campus.
- These new staff would operate under formal delegation from the social work manager, and consequently there would be impacts on reporting lines and escalation pathways.
